Travel Baseball

Spartan Express, New Hartford's travel baseball program, accommodates players ages 8-12 who are looking to play more baseball and extend their practice time. Participation in NHLL is a requirement. Travel baseball scheduling differs from coach to coach and at each age group, but typically consists of pre-season workouts in February and March, and an 8-20 game schedule that spans mid-April to early-August. During the Little League season games are played on Sundays to prevent conflicts with regular Little League.

Tryouts are held each August for next year's season. We try to field teams at all ages from 8-12U, but this is subject to participation levels and coaching availability. Fore more information about travel baseball, contact [email protected].
